LG unexpectedly launches new mid-range smartphone: Snapdragon 845, 'rabbit ears' display
LG's new LG Style3 is powered by the Snapdragon 845 chip and the notch design of 2018.
LG recently launched a new smartphone called LG Style3 in Japan. This is a mid-range smartphone, but instead of using mid-range chips from Qualcomm, LG chooses an old flagship chip to equip this smartphone.
Specifically, LG Style3 is equipped with an OLED screen with QHD + resolution, which means it has an even higher resolution than the newly launched LG V60 ThinQ not long ago. The screen size of LG Style3 is 6.1 inches and uses the outdated notch design. This is also where the 8MP selfie camera cluster as well as the speakerphone strip.
On the back, we will see the familiar design language that has appeared on many LG smartphones before. Users will have a 48MP + 5MP dual camera placed horizontally with a flash, a one-touch fingerprint sensor in the middle and right below is the name of the distributor (Docomo).
In terms of hardware configuration, LG Style3 is equipped with Snapdragon 845 chip, the flagship chip of 2018, comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage, with microSD expansion card support. Style3 has a built-in 3500mAh battery. The device will run Android 10 when sold.
LG will officially launch the new Style3 in Japan in June here with two color options Aurora White (white) and Mirror Black (black) at a price of 38,160 yen.
