Why are we using the cloud?

Some of the main reasons for using cloud are the convenience and reliability.For example, if you've ever used a web-based email service, such as Gmail or Yahoo . then you've used some cloud services already!To better understand, for example, email email service, all emails in a web-based service are stored on the server and not on your computer's hard drive.This means you can access your email from any computer, as long as you have an Internet connection.It also means that you will be able to easily restore your email if something happens to the computer.Consider some common reasons you should use the cloud:

Data storage: You can store all kinds of information in the cloud, including file types and email.This means you can access these data from any computer or mobile device with an Internet connection, not just from your home or company computers.Dropbox and Google Drive are some of the most popular cloud-based storage services available today.

Data sharing: Cloud will make it easy for you to share your data with many others at the same time.For example, you can upload some photos to cloud-based photo storage services like Flickr or iCloud Photos, then share them quickly with friends and relatives.

Backup data: You can also use the cloud to protect your data.For example, apps like Mozy and Carbonite will automatically back up your data to the cloud.This way, if your computer is lost, stolen or corrupted, you can still easily restore these files from the cloud.

What is web application?

Previously, we learned about how desktop apps allow you to perform tasks on your computer.There are also web applications that run directly in the cloud without having to be installed on your computer.There are many most popular websites on the Internet today that are essentially web applications.Sometimes you have used a web application without realizing it, this is quite common.With the ever-expanding coverage of the Internet, web applications are becoming more and more popular than traditional applications.Let's take a look at some of the famous web applications, including:
