Brightcove's host video and video player platform has just reflected on Gizmodo site about a big problem in Internet Explorer 10 (IE 10) with Windows 8. In IE 10, all websites containing flash will run smoothly howl when Microsoft was put on the list of "good" sites . That means if your website has not been approved by Microsoft, IE 10 will not run flash when users access your website.

This behavior is not a technical error of IE 10, but is part of Microsoft's plan: with Windows 8, the company wants to limit how to transfer digital content with Flash, and encourage experiences without plugins ( plug-in) on the web.

On the official website, the company also stated the following: Windows 8 comes with two versions of IE 10: one for the desktop experience, one for touch experience with the new Metro interface.

The Desktop version will run Flash as usual, but the Metro version will only run Flash on sites approved by Microsoft. If you are a website designer, you can also add meta tags to transfer users from the Metro version to the desktop version when accessing your site. If you want to be " censored" by Microsoft , you'll have to send an email to this company and wait for approval.

Microsoft says it will only approve websites with flash content that comply with its own criteria. These criteria are designed to ensure the most appropriate experience with the touch-sensitive operation mechanism of Windows 8 Metro interface.
