How to turn off video sound when opening TikTok

When you open the TikTok application, the default will play the new video with the audio of the video as usual. This default feature will sometimes cause trouble for users, especially when you are in a public environment because it affects others. Step 1:

First we click on Profile to access your personal TikTok interface. Next in the personal TikTok interface, users click on the 3 dashes icon in the top right corner of the screen.

 

Step 2:

Now show the option below, we click on Settings and privacy .

Step 3:

Switch to the setup interface for the TikTok application, scroll down to the Content & Display section and then click on the Playback item to customize.

Step 4:

At this point, users will see the option to Open TikTok and mute . We will enable this mode to turn off the video as soon as we open the TikTok application.

 

So when we open the TikTok application, the video will be muted. You just need to tap on the video to play back the TikTok video audio.
