How to Insert a Fixed Image Into a Cell in Excel

This procedure will apply to cases where the number of images is not large. But for you to work with a large amount of data and a lot of photos, it is recommended that you do not use Excel, or if required, you must use VBA or add-in.

Step 1: Insert Pictures Into Cells (Cell) in Excel

Insert pictures as usual, select the cell you may need to insert the image -> Insert -> Picture -> select -> Insert

Step 2: Resize the Image to Fit the Cell Size

To adjust the image size so that reasonable, you can not use the normal way of holding the mouse just dragged dragged. You need:

- click the image you have just selected,

- Then hold down the ALT key,

- Continue dragging the 4 directions of the cell with the 4 arrow keys moving through 4 directions to fit the border of the cell. Remember to pull so smart offline

Step 3: Format the Size of the Photo in the Properties Status Card

Now notice that even though you have manually adjusted the image to fit the box, but if you do nothing next, but simply DRAG FOR WIDE OR LONG, the size of the image DO NOT CHANGE, but remain in the same position. So what do you guys do?

-> You need:

- Right-click the image that fits in an Excel cell, select Format Picture -> then select Properties -> finally select Move and size with cells -> Close

-> Now try to CHANGE THE SIZE OF THE BOX to see if the image size has changed. Good luck!
