How to delete the Word footer footnote
Step 1:
When creating Footnote in the body of the text, we will see the markup characters, such as the number shown below. If hovering over, you will see the annotated content.
Step 2:
To proceed with deleting the Footnote in Word, highlight the Footnote caption character in the text and then press the Delete button on the computer keyboard to delete the note.
In case the text content inserts many Footnote and wants to delete the entire note, press Ctrl + H to open the Find and Replace window interface.
Click Replace. In the Find what entry field ^ f and click Replace All .
Word will re-check the content of the document and notify the user of the total number of existing comments. Click OK to agree to delete the footnote footnote note on Word.
So you have deleted all Footnote footer notes on Word documents. When checking documents if there are few footnotes, Footnote can be removed manually, which is to delete each caption character. Or with documents many Footnote can use on Find and Replace function on Word.
