How to change the position of the Taskbar on Windows 11
1. Windows 11's Taskbar
Windows 11 operating system launched with a completely new interface and the focus is still on the main screen interface. Previously, Windows 10 was 'criticized' as inferior, now Windows 11 has solved all that problem. This has made users happy, but the story is different when they cannot change the position of the Windows 11 Taskbar.
On Windows 10 operating system, changing the position of the Taskbar is extremely easy when you can set it up in Settings. Microsoft even considers it an official feature, but Windows 11 doesn't. This feature has been officially disabled and the default Taskbar is displayed at the bottom of the computer screen.
2. How to change the position of the Taskbar on a Windows 11 computer
For Windows 11 operating system, changing the position of the Taskbar will have to interfere deeply in the system and specifically edit on Regedit.
Step 1: Press the Windows + R combination on your computer to open the RUN window on your Windows computer.
Step 2: Then, enter Regedit in the RUN window and click OK to open Regedit Editor on your computer.
Step 3: To access the folder to edit the location of the Taskbar on your computer, you will have to copy the following path and paste it into the navigation bar.

Once you open the StuckRects3 folder, you will have to open the Settings file by double clicking.
Step 4: In the Settings adjustment window, you will have a series of parameters as shown in the picture. However, you only need to care about the line: 00000008 and the FE column.
Step 5: By default, the lower Taskbar at the coordinates 00000008:FE will have the value 03. Now you just need to convert them to the value 01-02-04 to change the Taskbar position.
Step 6: In this case, Thuthuatphanmem will change the value 00000008:FE to 01 to bring the Taskbar position bar to the top of the screen.
In addition, you can also change the value to 02 or 04 to bring the Taskbar to the right or left side of the screen.
After completing the changes, click OK to finish.
Step 7: Finally, press Ctrl + Alt + Del to open the settings window and select Task Manager.
Step 8: Scroll down to the bottom and find Windows Explorer to restart them by right-clicking and selecting Restart.
Step 9: Immediately, the Taskbar will be changed to the top according to your needs.
Similar to the result value 02-04, the position is also changed to the left or to the right in the required direction.
In case you want to return the Taskbar to the default old position on Windows 11, you just need to set the coordinate value 00000008:FE to 03. Immediately, the system will return the Taskbar position to the old position of the screen. Figure.
