After nearly five months since Google launched the redesigned Maps service, the company has continued to release new updates with navigation features for many destinations.

On October 10, Google Maps desktop version began to be implemented the most requested feature, which is to support multiple destinations in the navigation tool.

From now on, when setting directions on the Google Maps map, a new "+" button in the interface allows users to add more destinations instead of just one point like before. With multiple destinations set up on the map, the guide tool will also set the path for the entire travel plan with the aim of finding the shortest path to travel between those destinations.

Next, users will also find some new indexes such as "Upcoming events" added to the list in Google Maps on the desktop. With this system, people will be able to find a destination and instantly know the events taking place at that location according to data from Google, the system also works with rating and inter-system systems. Touch and Street View.

Along with a new upgrade to the navigation tool, Google Now is now also further integrated into the map. Google Now allows users to easily find flights, hotels, restaurants and booking tools that appear right in the map search results.

This system works in a single web browser, but the search can be linked to the user's browsing history. Currently, the mobile version of Google Maps does not support the new features mentioned above but it will soon be posted in the near future.
