The program allows security researchers to work directly with Android application developers to find and fix bugs in their applications. The prize for finding bugs is up to 1000 USD.

Google also said that errors detected in applications and reported through Play Security Reward Program will benefit all application developers.

It is worth noting that this program does not include the search and reporting of fake, adware or malicious applications available on the Google Play store, so it will not affect the increase in the number of applications malicious application on its application platform.

According to Google, the scope of this program is limited to the corresponding RCE (remote control codes) and POCs (Proof of concepts) vulnerabilities operating on Adroid 4.4 and above devices.
