Google once again scored 'points' before Microsoft when its Chrome 15 browser surpassed Microsoft's Internet Explorer (IE) 8 browser to become the world's most popular web browser.

>>>Google released Chrome browser version 15

This information has just been announced by Statcounter, a famous Internet statistics firm. Accordingly, Chrome 15 currently accounts for 24.55% of the web browser market share, while IE8 only accounts for 22.16%. Firefox version 8.0 (the latest official version of Firefox) only occupies a modest 15.53% of the web browser market share and ranks third.

However, this is only a statistics for each version of the web browser separately, but if overall (not distinguish between versions), IE is still the leading popular web browser today when accounting for 38, 5% of web browser market share. Google Chrome also officially surpassed Firefox to rank No. 2, with a market share of 27.09%, surpassing 25.55% of Firefox's market share.

The reason IE still accounts for the majority of the world market share of the web browser because this is the default browser of Windows, and many people still choose the default software instead of choosing an alternative browser.

Although today, the highest version of IE is version 9, however, computers using Windows Vista or above can install and use IE9, while the number of Windows XP users is still the majority. That's why IE8 is still the most popular IE version of Microsoft.

For my part, among the browsers on the market, Chrome is the browser with the youngest age, first born in 2008. However, right from the launch, Chrome has quickly made an impression. For users, especially those who love technology because of the amazing processing speed as well as the optimized interface and reduce unnecessary components. These features are in turn learned by other competitors, including IE and Firefox.

If overall, Chrome is the fastest-growing web browser among the existing browsers in the market, besides, the speed of release of the new version of Chrome is also the fastest, with a 6-week rotation of a new version

Mozilla has also recently followed Google to speed up the development of a new version with a 6-week rotation, but has not really achieved much success.
