IE continues to lead the browser market share, far behind Firefox and Chrome
According to News Softpedia, Microsoft's Internet Explorer is the most popular Internet browser today.
Based on the statistics provided by market researcher Net Applications in July 2013, Internet Explorer continues to be the top choice of computer users worldwide.
Microsoft software magnate browser currently holds 55.98% market share. Mozilla Firefox held second place with 20.63% , followed by Google Chrome with 15.74% market share.
According to browser versions, IE8 version is the most popular version with 23.52% market share, but IE10 has grown very fast and is currently in second place with 15.36% market share. Meanwhile, Firefox 22 ranked third with 11.67% and IE9 ranked fourth with 9.69% market share.
