Dell XPS 15z is equipped with the basic configuration including Intel Core i5-2410M chip at 2.3 GHz, or 2.9 GHz with Turbo Boost technology, DDR3 6GB RAM, GeForce GT 525M graphics card with 2GB VRAM, 750 GB hard drive is priced at 1,400 USD in some markets such as Japan, Hong Kong, Australia .
In addition, users can order higher configurations for $ 1,820 including a Core i7-2620M processor clocked at 2.7GHz or 3.4 GHz with Turbo Boots and 8GB of RAM.
In some practical tests of Engadget, XPS 15z configured using Core i7 chip reached 8,023 points with PC Mark Vantage, 7,317 points with 3D Mark 06 and battery life of 4 hours 26 minutes.
