CES 2020: Dell launches G5 15 SE, a mid-range gaming laptop
G-series is the gaming laptop series that Dell introduced for the first time in 2019 with the purpose of filling the void left by the Alienware series. This plan had a smooth start when all 3 products in 3 different segments - G3, G5 and G7 - were well received and had a certain position in the market.
On the CES 2020 stage today, Dell has continued to introduce the Dell G5 15 SE gaming laptop model (Special Edition) with significant improvements in both design and performance, and features. Specifically aimed at gamers with a budget is not too much.
The design of the product is not really impressive or aggressive as many rival models, but still contains the typical elements of a gaming laptop model. This is also a common style in Dell's product design philosophy. Perhaps the company wants to direct more users to the inner value of the product: Configuration.
Dell G5 15 SE is powered by 3rd generation AMD Ryzen 4000 H-Series mobile processors (8 cores, 16 threads) and AMD Radeon RX 5600M GPUs - all of which are brand new products with a policy. Long term support from the manufacturer. Especially, the exclusive AMD SmartShift technology will perfectly optimize the power and compatibility between CPU and GPU to bring the best performance.
Not stopping there, the Dell G5 15 SE will also come with a 'Game Shift' macro key, which enables quick launch of game setup options, thereby improving the overall performance of the system. There's also the exclusive Alienware Command Center service, which allows users to easily control settings in games and peripherals. Integrated 3D Audio Recon technology, providing the most complete 360 audio experience.
The Dell 15-inch G5 15 SE panel has Full HD resolution and refresh rate up to 144Hz. Custom 4-zone RGB keyboard with WASD and 68WHr battery. It all turns the G5 15 SE into a great gaming machine.
Dell G5 15 SE has a very reasonable price from only $ 799.99 (about 18 million) and will be available in April 2020.
