Android Q allows running 2 applications simultaneously without being paused
Google has released the Multi-Resume feature on Android Q or Android 10.0 to solve the problem of being able to simultaneously run two different application processes on a split-screen interface.
Screen split feature has long appeared on Android phones, along with two different applications running on the split screen has also been applied. However, the Android operating system has not been able to keep both applications at the same time when using this feature, only one side of the screen is actually active, while the other half of the screen will be switched to pause. This causes inconvenience to users when using.
Therefore, Google has released the Multi-Resume feature on Android Q or Android 10.0 to solve the problem of being able to simultaneously run two different processes of the application on a split-screen interface. Of course, Multi-Resume is also capable of supporting more than two screens.
Google hopes the 'Multi-resume' feature can be built into Android Q.
In fact, the MultiStar feature (an add-on in Samsung's Good Lock section) has done the same on its devices. But currently, only Galaxy devices running Android 8.1 and above can use this feature.
