1. How to open Windows Services on Windows 10/8/7?

To open Windows Services on Windows 10/8/7, follow the steps below:

Press the Windows + R key combination to open the Run command window. Alternatively, right-click the Start button to open the Windows X Menu. Here, click Run to open the Run command window.

Then enter services.msc into the Run command window to open the Services Manager. Here you can run, stop, or disable Windows Services.

On the Services Manager window, in the Name column, you will see a list of Services running on the system with descriptions of Services.

You can also see the Status of the Services running or stop on the Startup Types section.

2. Types of Windows Services Startup

Windows 10 provides 4 types of Startups:

1. Automatic

2. Automatic (Delayed Start)

3. Manual

4. Disabled

3. Open, stop or disable Windows Services

To open, stop, pause or restart any Windows Service, select and right-click Service to select the options you want to perform.

If you want to manage more options, double-click Service to open the Service Properties dialog box.

On the Properties dialog window, in the Startup type section you can select the Startup type type for Service.

At the Service status, you will see the Start, Stop, Pause and Resume buttons for Service.

Also on the Properties dialog window you can see other tabs like Log On, Recovery and Dependencies. These tabs give you more information and other options.

After you have made your changes, click Apply and restart your computer to apply the changes.

4. Use the Command prompt to manage Services

In addition, you can use the Command Prompt to run, stop, pause or restore the Service.

To do this, first right-click the Star t button to open the Windows X Menu. There you click Command Prompt (Admin) to open the Command Prompt window.

To run a Service, enter the following command into the Command Prompt:

net startservice

To stop a Service, use the command:

net stopservice

To pause a Service, use the command:

net pauseservice

To restore a Service, use the command:

net continueservice
