Windows 8 was sold before the launch date

Walmart retail system in the US has sold Windows 8 models nearly two weeks before the time the operating system was officially released.

Many shoppers were surprised to see versions of Windows 8 on Walmart shelves since yesterday, said The Verge . In fact, the new OS installation discs are complete and valid, but the retail system does not have any promotional activities such as printing posters or panels hanging outside as well as inside the store.

The price of Windows 8 Pro here is 70 USD, equivalent to the level that Microsoft announced earlier.

However, this is not the only time retailers "hold car front lights " when the Home Shopping Network system previously gave users orders for computers running Windows 8 from last week. Meanwhile, Best Buy also showcased computer models running new operating systems in stores but not for sale.

The price for Windows 8 Pro upgrade is 70 USD, the full price for OEM manufacturers is 99 USD and 139 USD for Windows version 8 Professional. Most online retailers now have delivery dates on the exact date this operating system is officially introduced, October 26.
