Warning of virus outbreak nontay.exe

Virus nontay.exe originated from Vietnam and many anti-virus software is currently not updated. If a workstation is infected with the nontay.exe virus, when the machine copies data to the company's shared server, the nontay.exe virus is also copied to the server. From there, any computer that connects to the server to get data will also copy this nontay.exe virus. As a result, the entire network will be paralyzed, all access from the server to the server cannot be performed and the corporate network will be dropped.

Administrative functions like Regedit , Task manager , Add or remove programs . are not working. The Folder Options function (often used to adjust hidden / visible properties of files and folders) is also disabled. The computer system will run slower than usual . greatly affecting the daily work of computer users.

Currently this type of "made in Vietnam" virus is spreading a lot on the network, users, especially corporate networks, need to be very careful to avoid nontay.exe virus infection. Currently, Kaspersky anti-virus versions with updates after May 15, 2008 can completely kill this virus.

The mouse icon changes (a small color array runs around the mouse pointer).

The machine is slower than usual, infected files cannot open (including drives or folders), hidden Folder Options cannot be accessed in Properties, Add or Remove Programs, Msconfig .

The infected folders or files will be converted to JPEG, the network will be congested, there will be a hard drive overflow, if it is heavily infected it will not be able to access Windows.

Nontay.exe spreads rapidly through sharing common resources on the local network and via email.
