Vampire Survivors: Tips for winning Hyper . mode

For new players, the Hyper mode in Vampire Survivors is really a huge challenge. It is completely unsuitable for people who are getting used to the game or looking for a way to build characters.

However, once unlocked and mastered Hyper Mode, gamers will find it difficult to return to normal mode because it is too slow.

If you've just unlocked the mode or are struggling with the last few minutes of a match, here are some Vampire Survivors Hyper Mode tips.

Tips for winning Hyper Mode in Vampire Survivors

Play in the Inlaid Library

Going through Hyper mode in Inlaid Library is actually a lot easier than Mad Forest and especially Green Acres. There are several main reasons for this:

  1. Since the upper and lower parts of the Inlaid Library are an endless array of bookshelves, the player is not easily overwhelmed by crowds of enemies.
  2. Weapons that excel in small spaces with walls to counter, like Runetracer, Santa Water, Peachone or Ebony Wings are perfect to use on this map.

  1. It's much easier to find breakable objects in the Inlaid Library for health boosts or Power-Ups than in Mad Forest.
  2. In general, enemies seem to be easier to handle until the very last minute.
  3. Getting an extra Stone Mask allows the player to have 7 items at once instead of 6.
  4. And finally, a bonus of 50% Lucky stat.

So if everyone's goal is only to complete one Hyper Mode pass, then Inlaid Library is the best choice.

Always save a few chests

Unlocking Hyper mode means everyone is familiar with the game and knows how to use evolved weapons.

For those who don't know, weapons have evolved creating a lot of variety in Vampire Survivors' weapon builds. Basically, if the player has a level 8 weapon and a certain accessory item, the next chest opened with a high percentage gives an evolved version of that weapon.

People can refer to the Guide to Collecting All Evolved Weapons in Vampire Survivors to learn how to craft them.

In Hyper Mode there's a lot of fun that comes from getting these evolved weapons, such as seeing them at 2x base speed. So try to save a few chests until an evolution combo is ready to trigger.

Don't worry about the bosses chasing

One of the obvious, yet often misunderstood things in Vampire Survivors is the system where bosses are always nearby. Enemies on the screen, including bosses, tend to return to the other side of the screen if the character goes too far in any direction.

So while playing Hyper Mode, don't worry too much about killing the boss as soon as it appears, especially if the current build doesn't deal too much damage.

Keep a close eye on your character's health bar

The default mode of Vampire Survivors is so interesting that players may not need to focus on it for the first few minutes. Vampire Survivors is purely a game that can be played semi-passively, until the last few minutes.

However, this does not apply to Hyper Mode, at least within 8 minutes. Because enemies in this mode will spill out more and attack faster, a focused player can be killed in the blink of an eye even for 1 second. So unless the Laurel build is full, keep an eye on that health bar and try to kill as many enemies as you can
