How to Unlock Exdash
Besides 11 characters unlocked during the game, Vampire Survivors also has a mysterious character, Exdash.
To unlock Exdash, players just need to open Vampire Survivors and type x-x1viiq when entering the game's main menu. Alternatively, the Clover Drop can be collected to unlock this character, with a chance of 1/65535.
Speed is the key to owning this secret character. Gamers need to enter the above characters and do not need to press anywhere else. If this is done correctly, everyone will find Exdash in the character selection screen upon access and can use this character for the next battle.
Exdash is an interesting and different character, with negative changes applied to Movement Speed, Strength, Area, Speed, and Duration. Additionally, the secret character has an active summoner applied to its Cooldown, making it a real challenge to survive with this character. However, Exdash has +100% Luck and here is a complete list of their base stats for curious players:
- Max Health: 77
- Movement Speed: -10%
- Strength: -10%
- Area: -10%
- Speed: -50%
- Duration: -10%
- Cooldown: +10%
- Luck: +100%
Obviously, Exdash's Luck is the main strength, as that stat can make some positive impact. More specifically, Luck reduces the chance of an adverse situation, like a swarm of bats, while also improving the chance of getting high-quality chests and good items from killing braziers.
How to unlock MissingNo
The Vampire Survivors player community has worked hard to uncover the various mysteries of the game. And the most enigmatic character MissingNo, aka Death, is another one of the more interesting secrets to be discovered.
Unlocking MissingNo is a process, editing some game files. What gamers need to do is increase the damage output on any damage items. For the easiest implementation, Garlic is an optimal choice. Follow the steps below to unlock MissingNo in Vampire Survivors.
First, access the game's root directory. If the location is not known, try the SteamsteamappscommonVampire Survivors link.
Search for main.bundle.js, the file with the source code in it. Navigate to resources > apps > .webpack > renderer and the file should be there.
Full path to the file: SteamsteamappscommonVampire Survivorsresourcesapp.webpackrenderer.
Right click on main.bundle.js > select Edit withe Notepad++ and find the code for your favorite weapon, which in this tutorial will be Garlic.
Press Ctrl + F and type Garlic (or other weapon name). Now, gamers need to find where Garlic's source code is set up and change the number to the desired power (99999999 or higher).
Record the original strength so that it can be undone after successfully defeating Death. Next, the player needs to save the file, choose a character with a starting weapon of Garlic, and play the game.
Once past the 30 minute mark, people may notice that the game is not over yet. There will be no victory screen where players give up on their own.
Don't forget to change the weapon's value back to its original mark, or uninstall and reinstall the game, both of which undo the item's power back to normal.
How to unlock O'Sole Meeo
O'Sole Meeo is the first animal character in Vampire Survivors, added in update 0.5.1. This is a dog whose starting weapon is the Celestial Drub.
To unlock this character, the player must defeat a total of 3000 Dragon Shrimp. Fortunately, locating this enemy is not too difficult.
Players hunting for the Dragon Shrimp should turn their attention to Gallo Tower. For those who haven't started, this stage is unlocked by reaching level 60 in the Dairy Plant.
Dragon Shrimp waves appear there at 4 different times, including: 11 minutes, 17 minutes, 20 minutes and 29 minutes. Gamers need to try their best to get to the last wave of Dragon Shrimp, because it has a very large number of these enemies.
Information about O'Sole Meeo
When O'Sole Meeo is moving, this weapon will periodically fire a projectile in the opposite direction. These projectiles, which take the form of flowers, break up on contact with an obstacle and they explode into countless smaller projectiles at the end of their active duration. Celestial Drubs also create projectiles around O'Sole Meeo when stationary, although their cooldown is greatly increased.
O'Sole Meeo's passive bonus gives the character an extra bullet every 20 levels up to level 60. The player can pair this bonus with the Duplicator to get +6 bullets from the weapon.
These additional projectiles give Celestial Drub an amazingly huge improvement. Vampire Survivors gamers can make this weapon even better by choosing the Empty Tome and reducing its cooldown.
People should also consider choosing Candelabrador when playing as O'Sole Meeo, as it has a significant impact on the dog's initial weapon.
One last thing to note is that Vampire Survivors players can enter PET once per match, which will spawn a healing heart circle for O'Sole Meeo.
Although this ability is not used continuously, it is still a useful tool. Even without ever asking for additional healing, this is a great O'Sole Meeo easter egg secret.
