Blogeee.net recently launched its first images of the latest version of the Asus Eee PC 901, which uses Intel's upcoming Atom processor chip platform.
Accordingly, the Eee PC 901 has not changed much compared to the Eee PC versions currently on the market. The most noticeable change is that the Eee PC 901 design has started to look slightly lighter and more fashionable.
The Eee PC 901 is elegant with rounded corners. Right above the keyboard is now equipped with a row of impressive color control keys. The touchpad is also adorned to create another highlight in the design of the product.
Based on the images experts predict the Eee PC 901 will use a 9-inch screen with a 1.3-megapixel camera. According to some documents, the Eee PC 901 will use the Intel Concord River design - including Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz processor, Intel 945GSE Chipset, 512MB DDR2 RAM and 4GB SSD drive.
It is expected that the Eee PC 901 will be officially launched at the Computex exhibition held in Taiwan next month. That was the time when Intel officially launched the Atom processor chip.
Asustek spokesman declined to comment on the information.
