Intel brought its strongest chip, a Core i9 processor, to a laptop

This is the best processor and game processor for laptops that Intel has ever created.

Since Intel announced the first Core i9 processor for its desktop last year, it was all a matter of time before they put them on laptops. Today, Intel announced the first Core i9 chip for laptops, which they identified as "Intel processors for laptops for the best gaming and creation ever created".

The new flagship chip announced today is the Intel Core i9-8950HK, which can reach 4.8GHz with Turbo Boost technology, and is the first mobile processor to have 6 cores and 12 threads. Intel says it can translate at a 29% faster rate than Intel's 7th-generation chip, improving 41% when playing games and up to 59% when editing 4K videos.

Along with Core i9 processor, Intel also introduced i5 and i7 models for laptops, also based on 14nm ++ (or Coffee Lake) architecture. Instead of the 8th generation Kaby Lake R chips, which is an advanced version of the previous 14nm + architecture on the 7th generation chip.

Promising chips offer powerful laptops

Unlike the 8th generation chips (part of U-series), the new i9, i7 and i5 Coffee Lake chips are part of the H-series (in addition to the Rdeon RX Vega M hybrid GPU integrated , product collaboration between Intel and AMD). Radeon RX Vega M, which is for thin, light laptops, the Coffee Lake targets manufacturers of 'heavy' computers (assuming a strong graphics card) where new power is important.

Along with Coffee Lake chip, Intel also supports Optane memory for both mobile and 8-generation desktop chips, which will help speed up compared to traditional memory. Intel also introduced new Core i5 +, i7 + and i9 + to show that the new computer will have both new Optane processors and memory.
