The first laptop to use Intel's Haswell chip appeared
It takes nearly 3 months for Intel's new generation of processors, Haswell to be officially launched. However, thanks to a PC manufacturing company in Germany, users have been able to collect some basic information about Haswell now.
A German website, Heise, has just released information on some of the high-end Devil Tech laptops using the quad-core i7 processor, which has not been officially announced by Intel as the 4800MQ and 4900MQ. The number 4 leading these brand names represents the 4th generation Haswell - Intel Core i series.
The site says there will be at least seven Haswell i7 versions available. In addition, the i7 will use 47 Watt instead of 45 Watt like Ivy Bridge - the current Core i generation. Haswell will be 30% faster than Ivy Bridge.
Some retailers, such as PCSuperstore.com have also allowed users to order Haswell processors from now on.
It is expected that Haswell architecture will be officially launched in June with the 4-core models for laptops first, then the more popular models (i5), and finally the weakest (i3) and pepper models least power consumption. Haswell will also have much higher graphics processing capabilities than Ivy Bridge.
In addition, Haswell will integrate more PC processing functions than all previous Intel microprocessor lifetimes and will therefore be the first popular system-on-a-chip system. Intel.
