Recently, Intel has updated the price list for desktop processors to refresh the core X chip line. The board now includes a 12-core model, the Core i9-7920X costs $ 1,189 when sold in August. . Intel's latest pricing information has not been announced yet. The remaining three processors include: Core i9-7940X, Core i9-7960X and Core i9-7980XE. Intel will certainly continue to provide more information until the upcoming launch date of the developer.

However, Intel may also wait until AMD's two Ryzen Threadripper chips are released for PC screens in August. AMD 16-core 1950X will be 3.4 GHz and cost $ 999 while the 1920X model. 12 cores will be 3.5 GHz and cost 799 USD. It is also said that CPU clock speed wars will be very interesting when starting next month.

AMD's new 1950X processor will have the same number as Intel's upcoming Core i9-7960X chip, but the clock speed is substantially higher while lower prices.
