Android 5.0 Lollipop is a major update for Google's mobile operating system. It brings a whole new user interface with many new or modified features. Including KNOX security features, developed by Samsung.

Basically, when starting the KNOX feature, the user's device will be switched to special security mode ( mainly support for business users ) with user interface and pre-established software. . When turning off this feature, the device will return to normal operating mode and of course the data of the phone when operating with KNOX feature will be stored on the device and protected by a PIN code.

KNOX has recently received many compliments from many prestigious organizations such as the US Department of Defense, NSA . so this feature information can easily be hacked and many people are skeptical.

This information comes from an anonymous researcher. He said, in fact, the security information of KNOX is stored in a system file named pin.xml and can be easily accessed if the user has rooted the device.

In response to the above information, Samsung said: " Unlike what is implied in the blog, access to this key is strongly protected. KNOX Trusted Boot feature will block all important data when KNOX feature is activated . "

Soon after, the researcher continued to update his personal blog post saying that his experiment was conducted with updates on the Galaxy S4. After this statement, Samsung still has no response or further explanation.
