Microsoft CEO: Robot will never replace people in the future
Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella thinks that we don't have to worry, because in the future many new jobs will be created and robots cannot replace people at many specific jobs.
" In a country like India, where the service economy is always at the forefront, there will be a lot of jobs, more and more jobs. There are many things that AI artificial intelligence will not be able to do. . When common artificial intelligence, real wisdom will become scarce, real empathy will also become scarce and the basic wisdom of common sense becomes scarce. So, we humans can absolutely find new jobs based on those scarcities, "said Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella.

Microsoft CEO has a visit to India this week to promote the Microsoft Azure cloud computing platform , which made these statements in an interview with the Economic Times page. One of Azure's strengths is its ability to integrate with Microsoft's Cortana artificial intelligence suite ( Cortana Intelligence Suite ), which makes the company's cloud client more personalized and capable. . Accordingly, Microsoft will provide exclusive platform and cloud computing services for Flipkart.
Satya Nadella CEO presented about the possibilities of AI artificial intelligence in education and health care. However, the part about AI artificial intelligence and new jobs is the most interesting because this is a problem that many technology leaders care about. The recent statements by CEO Nadella are quite interesting and contrary to the comments made by Elon Musk, founder and CEO of Tesla and SpaceX last week in Dubai:
" What to do with mass unemployment? This will be a great challenge for society. There will be more and more jobs that robots can do better than humans. Those are the What I don't want but will happen, are simple things I think might happen, "said Elon Musk.
In contrast, Satya Nadella argues that robots and artificial intelligence will not replace people in certain jobs, particularly in the service industry. And when artificial intelligence becomes popular, there will be many new jobs that have not been available before, which is also a new job opportunity. Of course, we cannot deny that automated robots and artificial intelligence are increasingly replacing people in production, shipping, banking or even customer care.
Satya Nadella was right to say that new jobs will appear in a world of artificial intelligence. But of the hundreds of millions of people whose jobs can be automated, how many people are able to meet new jobs that require human intelligence? Recently, at a factory in Bangalore, the robot is working to arrange and label cargo packages quickly and neatly, which was originally human work. Some of the new jobs that appear are process management, but the number of new jobs is too small compared to the number of workers replaced after automation.
Think of salespeople at retail stores, people who work in banks or government organizations, a lot of work in restaurants and hotels can be automated, and industry. The transport industry in the self-driving era that Elon Musk's company Tesla gives us . where are these people going? Who will prepare new jobs for them in a world where artificial intelligence is popular?

There is no simple answer. Elon Musk suggested that a basic income level should be given. This amount is achieved by increasing efficiency when automating. However, this is only a temporary solution - the " money " problem, how to make people have a " meaningful life ", which is only obtained from work, is still a difficult question .
In a recent interview, Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates also came up with an idea of the income tax that robots need to pay income tax like humans. Taxes from companies that use human substitution robots can be used to train people into new jobs like Satya Nadella mentioned.
A recent study by McKinsey also relates to the impact of automation on work. Instead of determining which specific jobs will disappear within a few years, this study focuses on the parts that can be automated in each job. In other words, even a highly-skilled and well-paid job also includes some parts that can be automated. Research shows that 30% of activities out of 60% of jobs can be automated.
The study was conducted in 45 countries with 80% of workers in the world, drawing the conclusion that India and China (the two most populous countries ) will suffer the most from the biggest impacts. of automation, potentially affecting 600 million workers - double the US population. The Nasscom Industry Association has found that service jobs in the IT industry in India have declined by 20-25% over the past 3 years. These jobs have turned Bangalore into the world's software outsourcing capital.
The transition to new jobs according to CEO Satya Nadella, requiring a lot of time, effort and intelligence of people is expected to be a very painful process. According to billionaire Elon Musk, it is an inevitable future, though no one wants it to happen. Everyone should be mentally prepared for a world of automation and that day is coming faster than we imagine.
