According to reports from developers, the Android 5.0 Lollipop version has made their Nexus 5 smartphone extremely battery-hungry when using Wi-Fi.
As described, system processes called " Miscellaneous " consume a lot of energy. Even on some machines, this process accounts for 70% of the total battery consumption.
In addition, some reports also said, Android 5.0 Lollipop calculates and reports the wrong amount of actual energy consumption of the system. This makes some processes account for more than 80%, even reaching 100% of total energy consumption.
