Sticky battery loss error, Android Lollipop postponed release date
After feedback regarding Nexus battery drain running Android 5.0 Lollipop, Google has decided to drop the release date of the new version of this mobile platform.
According to reports from developers, the Android 5.0 Lollipop version has made their Nexus 5 smartphone extremely battery-hungry when using Wi-Fi.
As described, system processes called " Miscellaneous " consume a lot of energy. Even on some machines, this process accounts for 70% of the total battery consumption.
In addition, some reports also said, Android 5.0 Lollipop calculates and reports the wrong amount of actual energy consumption of the system. This makes some processes account for more than 80%, even reaching 100% of total energy consumption.

As planned, first Android 5.0 Lollipop will be updated for the Nexus series. Then, smartphones and tablets of Samsung, HTC, LG . will be allowed to upgrade in the near future.
