1. PowerPoint presentation shortcuts
To present slides, play videos, play music, transition slides. in PowerPoint you can use the following shortcuts:
- F5 key : Used to display all slides from the first slide.
- Shift + F5 or Shift + Fn + F5 (for Laptop): Used to display the current slide.
- To move to the next slide, use the Space key or other shortcut keys such as: N key , right arrow key , down arrow key , Enter key , Page Down key .
- To return to the previous slide, use the BackSpace key or other keys such as: P key , up arrow key , left arrow key or Page Up key .
- To control video playback, music playback: See section 2 below. - B
key : Use to temporarily turn off the slideshow screen, when you press the slideshow screen will be black. To return to normal, press the B key again . - W key : Use to temporarily turn off the slideshow screen, when you press the slideshow screen will be white, Press the W key again : the slideshow screen will return to normal. - Slide + Enter key : Use to present another slide (while presenting). For example: when you are presenting at Slide 5 -> want to return to Slide 2, press the number 2 key and press Enter ). - Home key (on the keyboard): Return to the first slide - End key (on the keyboard): Go to the last slide of the lesson - Esc key or Ctrl + Break key : Used to turn off the presentation.
2. Shortcut keys to control videos and other media during presentations
- Ctrl + Spacebar : Play or pause video or audio music on the slide.
- Alt + Q : Stop playing video or audio on the slide .
- Alt + P : Switch between playing and pausing video or music.
- Alt + End : Go to the next bookmark.
- Alt + Up arrow : Increase video or audio volume.
- Alt + Down arrow : Decrease video or audio volume.
- Alt + U : Mute video or audio sound.
- Alt + Shift + Page Down : Search forward three seconds

. - Alt + Shift + Right arrow : Skip forward 0.25 seconds, then pause
. - Alt + Shift + Left arrow : Skip back 0.25 seconds, then pause

- A or = key : Use to hide or show the cursor.
- S or + key : To turn on/off the auto-presentation mode - Ctrl + P
