Opera has officially released a new update for Android users (verson 50).
Opera has officially released a new update for Android users (verson 50), offering some interesting features and improving the stability and overall performance of the platform. Accordingly, the new update will improve ad blockers and provide support for PiP, along with three new available language systems.
Ad blocker has been improved
With the new update, Opera is improving ad blocker to make it more friendly and powerful. Specifically, in the version of Opera 50 for Android, the native ad blocker has been significantly improved in performance compared to all previous versions, with the inclusion of a new site-specific installation. In fact, this useful feature has been implemented by Opera in the Opera for PC browser platform in 2016, but until today, this experience has been brought to the mobile version.
In addition, the option to block ads exclusively for websites is also a friendly solution for publishers to display their ads. At the same time it also brings more convenience for users because now the ad blocking feature can turn on and off directly from the address bar instead of having to access the settings. Users can click on the green padlock icon to the left of the website address, which will display a window with page settings. Then, users can choose to exclude a site from the ad blocker.
Besides, the cookie dialog block feature has also been improved, with a larger site security scope.

Other notable features on this new version include a simpler method for opening PDF files and other documents, supporting dark CSS themes (dark CSS themes), image support for videos ( Android 8 and above) and new fast drivers are more convenient, helping to navigate the page takes less time.
In addition, the new scroll bar will also act as a quick manipulation tool, which was used in previous versions of Opera but optimized not well. Specifically, you just need to touch the scroll bar when the arrow points up or down to go to the top or bottom of the site quickly.

In terms of language, Opera 50 has been translated into 3 new languages, including Estonian, Latvian and Lithuanian (these are Baltic states).
