Opera has just launched a new web browser for Android with a smart interface, easy to use one hand, more convenient than many other mobile browsers, named Opera Touch.

When you open the browser, the address bar will appear immediately and ready for you to enter the URL or search. While surfing the web, scrolling down will bring up a virtual button to access other tab pages or open a new page.

Currently, many browsers still place buttons at the top of the screen that are difficult to reach (eg Chrome). Using a single button at the bottom of the screen like Opera Touch would be appropriate when using only one-hand phones.

Opera Touch also has a feature that allows you to send websites from your phone to your computer or vice versa, provided you use Opera on both platforms. Some are automatic (display pop-up Continue from computer when opening a new tab on the phone) but if you want to make sure the pages are moved back and forth, you can use the Flow feature. Flow creates a list of websites shared by two platforms for users to search when needed.

Both of these features are pretty good, but not necessarily enough to pull users from other browsers. Almost everyone is using Chrome on the computer, while Chrome also has tab syncing - though it's a bit hard to use. It seems that Chrome is also in the process of bringing down the navigation bar below the screen.

Opera is still launching ideas, sometimes good, sometimes not. It is not clear whether Opera Touch has made any special changes. Previously they also launched a trial browser called Neon, but it was not updated in the past 1 year. However, this test is also very good. Opera is not a big player in the browser market, so launching some new ideas is a smart way to attract attention.

Opera Touch is currently only available on Android, the iOS version is in development. Opera also plans to continue developing its existing browser.
