MVP, the 'magic eye' system helps tanks overcome weaknesses that have existed for centuries

Tanks were invented by humans at the beginning of the 20th century, from then until now even the whole century has passed but the problem of vision has always been a weakness of this armored fighting vehicle. Most tanks are restricted from view, the soldiers inside the tank only have a very narrow view.

But recently BAE Systems has launched the Multifunction Vehicle Protection Sensor (MVP), which promises to address the poor vision weakness on these armored vehicles.

MVP sensor is a system consisting of four HD cameras installed on the body of the tank. Each camera has a 1920 x 1200 resolution, along with a 75-degree vertical viewing angle and a 120-degree horizontal viewing angle, providing a panoramic view of the surroundings for people inside the vehicle. In addition, these cameras are equipped with infrared sensors, which provide night vision, in the control of fog and dust. This allows people inside the vehicle to quickly identify and deal with threats and increase the efficiency of tanks.

The T-34 tank during World War II had a very narrow vision.

In the past, soldiers in tanks had different visions when in different positions. But with the MVP sensor, all members of the car can quickly get 360-degree HD image quality and take a look around.

In short, the MVP system is extremely useful, helping soldiers in tanks gain a clear view of everything around them. MVP will probably soon be equipped with many armored vehicles, other tanks, on both cars that are and are about to be used.
