Windows RT has a difficult mountain ahead

The last two weeks have been a pretty bad time for Windows RT . On August 8, Nvidia's CEO said that the Surface RT was one of the products that hurt the company's Tegra chips. A day later, Asus officially announced that it would not continue producing Windows RT tablets.

Previously, Toshiba, HTC and Acer had similar announcements, while the rest also expressed a lack of optimism when looking at the future of the operating system.

However, new developments cannot stop Microsoft from developing its new platform . "We are still committed to the future of Windows operating systems on the ARM processor platform , " Microsoft spokesman Cnet interviewed .

The US software company also said it is looking forward to these devices coming out later this year. Nvidia is also said to be developing the next generation RT Surface.

However, the ARM processor platform is not synonymous with Microsoft's Windows RT. In addition to this operating system, the company also has a Windows Phone platform based on ARM chips.

Windows RT basically has the same interface as Windows 8 . However, because it runs on an ARM processor, it cannot be compatible with traditional Windows software. Microsoft even has built-in Office, but it's not enough to attract users.
