Instructions for playing CS 1.1 window mode

With CS 1.1 window mode, you can play CS 1.1 while using other software and applications without having to press Alt + Tab outside.

CS 1.1 or Counter Strike 1.1 also known as Half Life 1.1 has a very light configuration compared to most current games. So you can play CS 1.1 when turned on with other software, but the game does not have a window mode, so you have to press Alt + Tab outside to use other software and applications.

There is no window option in the game, but you can follow the instructions below to play CS 1.1 as a window.

How to play Half Life 1.1 window mode

Step 1: First, right-click on the icon of CS 1.1 on the screen> select the Properties icon.

Step 2: In the Shortcut tab> add -window at the end of Target and click Apply> OK. If you want to resize this window, you can choose Config> Video> Video Mode and choose the size of CS 1.1 window

If you have CS 1.1 enabled, exit the game and re-enter, the window mode will be enabled shortly after. And if you want to return to full screen mode you just need to delete the -window line to get it back to the original.

So you can both play CS 1.1 and use other software comfortably. Although the game screen is a bit small and you may have to watch more carefully if you want to see the enemy, but it is more convenient that you have to press Alt + Tab to go out.
