Instructions for downloading movies from Netflix in Windows 10

Netflix is ​​one of the most popular online movie watching services. As of April 2017, the company has reported more than 98 million registered subscribers with more than 50 million in the United States.

At the end of last year, Netflix introduced a new feature, allowing users to download movies and TV shows to phones and tablets. Recently, the company also supported downloading movies on Windows devices, so you can watch movies offline on your PC or laptop easily.

Note: Watching offline movies does not work on the web browser, so you will have to download the Netflix application from the Windows Store.

Download movies and TV shows

To do this, you must access the Windows Store. The easiest way is to type " Windows Store " into the search bar at the bottom left of the screen, search for Netflix and install the application.

After downloading the application, you need to click Sign in to enter your login information in the application. On the next screen, select the user account you want to use for Netflix, it will take you to the home page of your account - where you can start downloading movies or TV shows.

Note: Despite the fact, Netflix allows many content to be viewed offline but not all programs and movies download.

If you have time, you can search for the program or movie you want to download and if there is a small download icon (you can see in the picture below), which means you can download and view it offline.

However, an easier option is to click the menu icon in the top left corner of the application and navigate to ' Available for download .' Select the movie or program you want to view offline and search for the download icon. For movies, you need to select the previous season.

Watch downloaded movies and programs

After the download is complete, you must click the menu icon and navigate to My Downloads . Here, you can simply click the Play button in a movie interface to watch.

Any computer or phone memory has limitations, so if you don't need it, you should delete the downloaded movies. You can do this by navigating to the program or movie you want to delete in the My Downloads section, clicking the tick icon and selecting Delete Downloads .
