Huawei P20 Pro photographed at night is even more beautiful than the Pixel 2 XL

The P20 Pro's night photography mode is truly amazing.

Almost half of the time, Huawei's introduction of the P20 Pro is for the new camera, showing that they spend a lot of time and effort on taking photos on their phones.

Try it out to see that the truth is not inferior to rumors. Huawei actually made a very good camera, though not sure if it would take the throne, but the night mode was definitely the best on the phone, and even Pixel 2 XL had to carry sandals.

Let's take a look at some photos comparing photos taken with Huawei's P20 Pro and from the Google Pixel 2 XL - the phone that is arguably the best shot today.

The shutter of the camera on the P20 opens exactly 4 seconds and the information is collected for sharp images. As shown in the image above, you can also see photos taken with P20 that clearly see the branches, the sky is not seeded and the saturation is also better.

Do not be afraid to add layers to the image for sharpening and noise reduction, so photos taken with P20 lose a bit of nature. What is notable is that despite opening 4 seconds, Huawei's algorithm is smart enough to fix moving objects.

In terms of white balance, maybe Pixel 2 XL will be a bit overwhelmed by Google's HDR processing. What Huawei can do is probably between over-sharpening like LG and keeping honesty like Google.

Overall, it's hard to judge the location, but both the Huawei P20 Pro, the Google Pixel 2 XL and the Galasy X9 all have decent cameras for low-light photography.
