How to use Office Clipboard speeds up copying on Word
For those who often have to work with Word, the workload to be handled will be very much. Therefore, applying editing tips is essential to speed up editing, even with simple and basic operations of copying and pasting.
Instead of having to switch between Word windows with Alt + Tab to copy content between documents, you can immediately use the Office Clipboard feature to support continuous copy / paste on Word. Office Clipboard can be used on Word versions from 2007 and above. The following article will guide you how to use the Office Clipboard tool on Word.

How to speed up editing with Office Clipboard Word
Step 1:
At the interface on Word, the Clipboard management group clicks on the arrow icon and will see the Clipboard interface appear.
Step 2:
When clicking on the icon, the Clipboard interface will appear on the left side of the screen. So every time a user copies content in a Word document including text, images, charts, diagrams, etc., it will appear in the Clipboard list .
With the content copied on the browser to the Word document will also appear in this list.
Step 3:
To paste the content into the editor interface, we just need to select the location to insert and click on the corresponding content on the Clipboard list. Or you can click on the location you want to insert, then right-click on the content to select Paste . Here you can also press Delete to delete the content in the Clipboard list.
In case you want to delete all contents in Clipboard, click Clear All . When processing the text content, the user should delete the contents of the unused Clipboard, or delete the entire contents.
Step 4:
If you want to customize the Office Clipboard tool, how this tool works in the Clipboard interface click the Options button below.
The options for editing include:
- Show Office Clipboard Automatically: automatically displays Office Clipboard when copying.
- Show Office Clipboard When Ctrl + C Pressed Twice: automatically show Office Clipboard when pressing Ctrl + C.
- Collect Without Showing Office Clipboard: automatically copy to Office Clipboard without displaying the Clipboard list.
- Show Office Clipboard Icon on Taskbar: shows the Office Clipboard icon on the Office Clipboard system tray enabled. By default this option has been enabled.
- Show Status Near Taskbar When Copying: Displays a message when copying text to the Office Clipboard. The option has also been enabled by default.
Although copy paste operation on Word is a very basic operation, but instead of having to do it many times, repeatedly, we can shorten the operation with the Office Clipboard. While working, you should delete the copy content in Clipboard on Word.
