Step 6: Tap Create a Passcode to create a password for Apple Watch. Click Add a Long Passcode to add a password longer than four digits or click Don't Add Passcode if you don't want to set a password on the Apple Watch.

Step 7: On the Apple Watch, click to create a 4-digit password.

Step 8: Enter the password again to confirm.

Step 9: If you have Apple Watch Series 3 with LTE service, choose Set Up Cellular on Apple Watch.

Step 10: Set up Apple Pay (or set it up later). You may need to enter the card security code or the entire number depending on the card being added.

Step 11: On the iPhone, click Continue to indicate that Emergency SOS is understood.

Step 12: Touch Install All to install all the watchOS applications available on iPhone (watchOS applications included in the iOS app). Touch Choose Later if you don't want to install all the watchOS apps available on your iPhone.

Step 13: Allow Apple Watch to sync with iPhone.

Step 1: After completing the pairing process, click Restore from Backup .

Note: You need to back up your old watch on a device running iOS 11 before setting up a new watch with that backup on iOS 11.

Step 4: Click OK to indicate that you understand Shared Settings of iPhone and Apple Watch.

Step 5: Tap Create a Passcode to create a password for Apple Watch. Click Add a Long Passcode to add a password longer than four digits or tap Don't Add Passcode if you don't want a password on the Apple Watch.

Step 6: On Apple Watch, click to create a password.

Step 7: Enter the password again to confirm.

Step 8: If you have Apple Watch Series 3 with LTE service and haven't set it up yet, you can be prompted to Set Up Cellular (set up mobile network on Apple Watch).

Step 9: On iPhone, press Continue to tell you that you understand Emergency SOS .

Step 10: Set up Apple Pay (or set it up later).

Step 11: Now Apple Watch will start recovering from the backup.
