How to adjust permissions on Firefox

Usually when you visit specific websites will adjust permissions on that site. However, users can also make general adjustments in the access rights management interface on Firefox. Here are instructions for adjusting permissions on Firefox.

Step 1:

At the interface on the Firefox browser, users click on the 3 dots icon in the top right corner and then select Settings .

Step 2:

Switch to the new interface, users click on Privacy & security .

 

Looking further to the content to the right of the Permissions section , you will see the permissions on the Firefox browser. Here you will find the access permission on the browser that the user wants to adjust, and then click Settings to adjust.

Step 3:

Display interface to adjust access rights. We will see the websites that want to access this permission. If the list is long, you can enter a website keyword to search.

Here you can adjust to Block mode to prevent the website from continuing to access this permission. There is also an option to Remove Sites to remove the site from the list, or Remove All Sites to remove the entire list.

 

Below that is also an option to Block new requests to allow access to your microphone to prevent sites outside this list from sending requests to access the microphone.

Finally, when it's set up, click Save changes below.
