Private browsing rights are better on Firefox 20
Mozilla said it is about to add new features to the Firefox browser to enhance security to better protect users' privacy.
On Firefox's blog, product manager, Asa Dotzler wrote: "One of the upcoming new features is support for private browsing for Firefox, as the ability to open a private window without closing. During the last 19 months, we have been working on a plan to rewrite the private browsing code to do that.I'm happy to announce that the testing process is complete and is now applied. used on Firefox's Nightly channel ".
Basically, the new feature allows Firefox users to keep the existing window open when they open a new privacy window. While previously users will have to exit the browser completely and restart it in private mode.
Not only that, Dotzler also said the new feature will allow users to open a link in a private window. To do this, users simply right-click on any link and select Open Link in a New Private Window . This is part of Mozilla's big project plan.
According to Mozilla, the test version of the new feature will be released in February next year. Firefox 20 is currently being distributed via Nightly, according to Mozilla's schedule plan. The alpha version will be included in Aurora channel in early January 2013 and beta channel on February 19. The final version is scheduled to be released in early April 2013.
