Google's new feature brings the art world
With only one search keyword, users can now explore the art world in museums.
In a blog post on Wednesday, Google announced that it will bring a new experience to users when from now on, you can search for artworks of museums.
"Starting today, when searching for art-related things, you will see relevant results and have the opportunity to learn more about the area of your interest," Google said. They also said they will bring in additional 500 million art-related searches every month.
This project is a collaborative product between Google's Arts & Culture, Search and Maps team. Finding an artist can lead you to many relevant results such as a collection of artists' works, museums with product displays. Some also offer high resolution images.
Now, Google Maps also allows users to "walk" through museum rooms, with notes and information on the wall. Click here will show you images in high resolution.
