Note: EasyBCD can boot Linux using one of the modes, namely Chainloading GRUB/GRUB2/LILO/etc. and NeoGrub.

Features of EasyBCD

  1. Boot anywhere: You can create a bootable USB with repair utilities to take with you wherever you go.
  2. Boot from anything: You can boot your operating system from USB, ISO image, virtual drive, etc.
  3. Solve the problem: You can use EasyBCD to troubleshoot Windows, backup and repair bootloader, etc…

A few notes

When you use this bootloader modifier, you should pay attention to the following points.

1. You should use the latest version in case it fails to boot because EasyBCD does not support your current operating system.

2. It is better to boot Windows 7 with EasyBCD 2.0 build 76 or higher versions.

3. Please install EasyBCD on a system with a newer operating system version. For example, if you need to boot Windows XP and Windows 7, you should install EasyBCD in Windows 7 and boot XP from there, otherwise it will make Windows XP unbootable.
