Dell has just released an upgraded version of the popular Latitude E4300 ultraportable laptop . The Latitude E4310 will basically use a 13.3-inch 16: 9 screen, configured with a standard Core i5 processor but not really attractive because the other components are not new.

Compared to competitors, the Dell Latitude E4310 has encountered some shortcomings in features, especially connectivity. The Latitude E4310's competitor, the HP Elitebook 2540p, has a 12.1-inch LCD screen, but has a DisplayPort connection, three USB ports, and a metal housing with strong resistance of up to 100 kg. Through the specs of the Latitude E4310, it is clear that it is not enough to compete with the HP Elitebook 2540p.

The Latitude E4310 has two main configurations with Core i5-520M or i5-540M processors, 35 watts of power consumption (compared to 25 watts of Core SP9xxx series in the E4300 version), and the QS57 controller chip supports the utility for business users. E4310 also has a 13.3-inch anti-glare screen with 1366x768 pixel resolution of 16: 9 aspect ratio, integrated graphics card inside the CPU, DDR3 RAM slot, 2.5-inch hard drive.

Some of the new connections in the E4310's options are the standard Wi-FI card (Intel 6300), Wi-Fi / WiMax 6250 card, 3G card with GPS 5620 or 5540.
