10 – Supplies Memory Error

Faulty ink chip makes the machine unreadable

Restart the printer. If that fails, reinstall  the cartridge  or replace the cartridge as well. Hardware error if not improved

11 – Paper Out

If the printer does not run out of paper, there may be a problem with the paper tray or the paper sensor.

Place the printer on a flat surface. Check for damage to the paper tray and clean the waste ink. Alternatively, perform a paper sensor test or clean the optical sensor

12 – Open or No EP

Occurs when the toner cartridge is not installed properly, i.e. the lid is open or the cooling fan or PS5 sensor is faulty

Check that the toner cartridge is installed correctly and close the covers. Hardware error if not fixable

13 – Paper Jam

The machine can jam in 4 positions: paper taking, printing, drying and output. Later HP printers will show the location of the jam

If you are using thick paper, re-read the printer paper instructions. Also, besides following the on-screen instructions, check for possible jam locations. After removing the jammed paper and still can't fix it, the fault is in the hardware

14 – No EP Cartridge

The printer does not have an ink cartridge or does not recognize it

Remove the toner cartridge and re-insert it

16 – Toner Low

The toner cartridge is running low or has run out. However, it may also be because the remaining ink is not fresh.

Take out the ink cartridge and shake it well to loosen the ink. Replace the toner cartridge with a new one when the ink runs out

20 – Memory Overflow

Your print operation takes up all of the machine's memory

22 – I/O Configuration

Connection error between printer and computer

Connect to another port on the printer. Alternatively, you can replace the cable, making sure the computer is turned on and the cable is securely attached to both ends. If the condition does not improve then the hardware is faulty

24 – Job Memory Full

Too many print files are sent to the machine at the same time or the print files are too complicated, the machine can't handle it

30 – PS Error 16

This is usually a PostScript Firmware related error. In addition, it may be because the PCL File is being sent when the print operation is in PS mode or the PostScript File fails.

Reattach PostScript SIMM or replace it. Print another PostScript file to replace the error file

30.1.1 – Drive failure

The printer's hard drive is damaged

You can edit it by pressing the SELECT button. If it doesn't fix it, it's a hardware fault

40 – Data Transfer Error

The connection between the printer and the computer is broken

Check or replace the cable. Make sure the EIOs are in the correct position. If connecting to a network, make sure the IP address on the printer and the driver have not been changed and must match. Sometimes, you can press the SELECT button to continue printing but the data is easy to lose

41 – Temporary printer motor error

This is a temporary error in the printer, you will easily fix this error

Turn off the printer at the first part, then turn off at the power part and let it sit for 30 seconds. Turn it back on and send the print job again.

49 – Printer Error or Communication Error

Usually related to hardware failure, cable failure or firmware failure

First try turning the printer off and on again. If the problem persists, try updating the firmware and replacing the printer cable or re-inserting the memory. If it still doesn't fix it, it's a hardware problem.

50.x – Fuser Error

51 – Touch ray error

On older models, it usually indicates the lower part of the box assembly where the laser shutter is missing/broken. In the new model, this error may affect the scanning unit

52 – Incorrect Scanner Speed ​​Error

The printer uses a polygonal mirror to reflect the laser through the image. This error includes errors 52.1 and 52.2 indicating a problem at this stage.

54 – Printer Error Cycle Power

On some models, this error is caused by the ink cartridge seal that has not been fully removed

89 – PostScript ROM error

Your PS ROM is in the wrong place or has damaged or faulty pins

99 – Firmware Update

There is an error in the Firmware part

Error 50.x – Fuser Error is the fault of the fuser or the power supply. Fuser error includes the following errors:

- 50.1: The fuser unit does not heat up.

- 50.2: The heating time is too long. May be due to power supply or hardware failure.

- 50.3: High temperature. Thermistor is too hot. Could be a problem with the current.

- 50.4: Fusing core error (or unstable AC power supply). Usually caused by unstable power sources (UPS, generators, connectors .)

- 50.5: The fusing core is unstable or the fuser is not of the correct type.

- 50.6: The drying core is open. The fuser heater has stopped working. The drying core is overheated.

- 50.7: The pressure from the drying core causes the machine to fail.
