Apple OS will be far ahead of Windows in 2015

In 2015, the total number of devices sold using Windows operating systems will "outperform" the total number of devices using the Apple operating system.

Recently, a center for research and analysis of popular technology trends called Gartner has come up with a prediction that surprises the technology community. Accordingly, sales of products running Mac OS and iOS platforms will surpass Windows-based products in 2015.

So, according to this prediction, only 13 years after Steve Jobs rebuilt Apple, launched the legendary iPod product and outlined a new direction for the company with more diverse product lines such as phones and Tablet computers, Apple has won the " projection " over Windows in the market.

With a growing segment of the product and a well-received market, Apple is expected to bring him down to Windows for the next two years.

Last year, products running Windows were sold more than Mac OS and iOS numbers, which were 347 million and 213 million, respectively. However, according to Gartner , the number will be reduced to only 23 million in 2014 and a year later, sales of Apple products will officially bring down products running Windows.

Apple OS will surpass Windows in 2015. While sales will lag behind Apple, the number of devices running Windows will still be a huge number.

Even so, Windows will still be an important operating system that cannot be replaced. While Apple surpassed the Windows segment in the number of products sold, the number of devices, especially computers and laptops, installed Windows is still very large.Gartner also predicted that Microsoft will pull back a relative number of tablet users with the Windows 8.1 platform.

However, before Apple can surpass Microsoft, this year, sales of Android devices have surpassed numbers that both Apple and Microsoft achieved. Accordingly, the number of Android devices sold this year is expected to hit 867 million while Apple and Windows products combined will only reach 636 million devices.

In 2014, it is likely that Android products sold will achieve a commendable milestone of 1 billion products.

Explaining the rise of Android and Apple is the growing popularity of smartphones and tablets. Specifically, sales of tablets have achieved miraculous growth steps from 120 million devices last year to 202 million this year and are expected to increase to 276 million in 2014. Sales smartphone of the same period is also expected to increase from 1.7 billion to 1.9 billion.

These ideal growth numbers are the reason why PC sales fell at breakneck speeds in recent years.
