8 shortcuts with the Shift key on Gmail
1. Shift + Click square
You can select multiple consecutive emails by Selecting the first email + holding down the Shift key + selecting the last email, just like when selecting multiple files in File Explorer on your computer.
2.Shift + #
Cleaning up your inbox will be much faster when you delete each email using this shortcut. Best combination: select a bunch of mail with the Shift key and then use Shift + # to delete them all.
3. Shift + I
Mark the message as read. If you think the Mark as Read button in Google Labs is a time-saver, you're wrong. This shortcut can do the same thing in a much faster way.
4. Shift + U
Mark messages as unread. Hit this shortcut instead of wasting time with buttons.
5. Shift + R
Reply to an email in the popup window.
6. Shift + A
Reply all emails in the popup window.
7. Shift + F
Forward 1 email in the popup window.
8. Shift + T
Select an email or open an email and press Shift + T to send the email straight to Google Tasks.
Good luck!
