Windows 11 will officially launch on October 5, 2021, with many notable changes and improvements.

In addition to innovations in the user interface in general, Microsoft is also actively implementing the necessary upgrades to refresh system applications such as Snipping Tool, Photos, Paint, Clock, . and especially even Your Phone.

On the stage of the annual Surface 2021 product launch event, Microsoft shared for the first time the improvements to the interface of Your Phone, one of the applications evaluated as fundamental in deciding user experience on the new operating system.

The Your Phone app will have a new design that mainly revolves around the notification center area integrated in the app. As can be seen in the image depicting below, the new design of the application will make it easier for users to focus on the status and what is happening on their Android phone, without having to constantly lift the device.

As part of the improvement, the notification center will now be moved to the left pane. If you're not used to receiving notifications on your PC, you can completely hide notifications from any app installed on your phone. Do this by clicking the mute button to turn off notifications for specific apps. Your Phone will automatically ignore all notifications from that app.

In case you receive an important notification, you can click on the pin icon to pin it to the top of the notification center.

As you can see in the screenshot above, the Your Phone app's navigation bar is now at the top of the interface window, allowing users to easily access the messages, photos, apps, and calls pages. .

These options will help users read and reply to text messages, view and manage photos on the phone, and edit them with Paint or other programs on Windows. You can also make calls and even use Android apps on your PC (for Surface Duo and Samsung Galaxy phones).

The screenshot above also shows that Microsoft is planning to use WinUI 2.6 control features for Your Phone app like 'Open phone screen' and search box.

Overall, some of the UI changes in the Your Phone app will reflect the overall look and feel of Windows 11. However, it's currently unclear when this update will begin rolling out to users. use.
