You can check the authentication by modifying the XML file and trying to read it:

How to open an XSD file

Because XSD is text files that are similar in format to XML files, they will also follow the same open and edit rules as regular text files.

How to convert an XSD file

How can I still open an XSD file?

If you still cannot open XSD files even though you have used the above methods, it is possible that your file is not actually in XSD format.Some file types with a look-through extension look very similar to the extension of the .XSD file, so you should also double check the standard file extension.

For example, XDS files look very similar to XSD but instead, they are only used for the DS Game Maker Project and LcdStudio Design, and are completely unrelated to XML files or templates.

Similar to the XACT Sound Bank files that use the .XSB file extension.They are audio files and cannot be opened by any XSD openers or text file converters.
