watchOS 9 is available, users can download it immediately

If you own Apple Watch models on the watchOS 9 support list, you can download the new version to experience right now.

Essentially, all Apple Watch models from Series 4 onwards can be updated to watchOS 9. However, not all new features of the update are available on all Apple Watch models, especially older models. watchOS 9 introduces four new watch face options in different themes, including Lunar, Playtime, Metropolitan, and Astronomy. The new update also introduces Low Power Mode. Notifications have also been improved in the new update, which Apple describes as "to be less disruptive while still having an impact."
