Tatsui Horiuchi is a 73-year-old artist who found a passion for digital art 13 years ago, just before retirement. But because graphics software is always very expensive, Horuichi challenged his talents by creating masterpieces with Excel - a calculation tool that is thought to be dry.
The idea of trying something new to Horiuchi is very natural when he reaches retirement age and needs a new hobby. He has loved digital art for a while and choosing a software to do is just a matter of time.
The work is very elaborate and detailed to create a picture
Never used Excel for work, but Horiuchi quickly mastered the techniques and also won the Excel Autoshape Art Contest in 2006. His vivid and detailed paintings are often very detailed. taking the theme of landscapes and cultural and natural heritage of Japan.
Horiuchi didn't use Excel before
