The mysterious Snapdragon chip scored a record on Geekbench
The chip achieved a record score on the Geekbench platform with 4,149 points for single-core and 12,915 multi-core tests.
A mysterious Snapdragon chip has just appeared, causing many people to be alarmed and surprised by the record score in performance tests on its Geekbench platform.
According to GSMArena, the Snapdragon 855+ chip has only been released for about a month but has been used on many smartphones. However, it seems Qualcomm is ready to introduce the next high-end chip manufacturer with leaked name Qualcomm Kona. In many people's opinion, Qualcomm Kona may be the upcoming Snapdragon 865 and will appear on flagships in 2020.
Qualcomm Kona achieved a record score on the Geekbench platform with 4,149 points for single-core and 12,915 multi-core tests. Never had a chip ever achieved this score before.
This mysterious chip was tested on a device with 6 GB RAM, running Android Q. The chip has a basic clock speed of 1.8 GHz but is expected to reach 3 GHz even with just 1 core.
Currently, the Snapdragon 855+ may reach a 2.96 GHz clock even if there is a Kryo 485 CPU core, it should be 3 GHz for the next CPU that the researchers hope is completely capable.
Most likely, this mysterious chip will be introduced in December this year at the developer conference.
