The first 3G mini laptop in the world

Elitegroup Computer Systems (ECS) integrates 3G technology for the new microcomputer series, G10IL.

Among Taiwanese companies producing mini laptops, which are the hottest digital devices on the market, only Elitegroup Computer Systems (ECS) integrates 3G technology for the new microcomputer series, G10IL.

The ability to surf the web with high-speed 3G connectivity, HSDPA and HSUPA is one of the outstanding features of the ECS G series, surpassing all of the most potential competitors in the market such as the MSI Wind and Asus Eee PC.

The G10IL computer has a 10.2-inch, 6-pin display for about 5-6 hours of usage. It has an 8GB HDD, integrated webcam, 2GB DRAM and Intel's 1.6GHz Atom processor. This mini laptop is equipped with Windows XP operating system and it can connect to Wi-Fi.

G10IL also has a nice design, easy to see like the MSI Wind, which is only two-thirds the size of a regular laptop and weighs only about 1kg. However, the boot time of the device is quite slow, about 40 seconds and the keyboard of the device is quite small - this is the defect of most mini computers today.

ECS G10IL will be sold in Europe in September or October. Price is about 500 USD.
